House Planner

Privacy Policy

Last updated 7 August 2026

House Planner is a browser-based tool for drawing house plans, run at homedraft.house. This page explains exactly what the service stores and why. It is short because the service collects very little.

What we collect

What we do not collect

No payment details — the service is currently free and there is no billing system. No address book, contacts, files or anything else from your device. No advertising or third-party tracking scripts. We do not sell or share your data with anyone.

Where it is stored

Account details and house plans are stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon in the United States. The application itself runs on Render. Both providers act as processors on our behalf. Traffic to and from the site is encrypted with HTTPS.

Cookies

One cookie is used: an HttpOnly session cookie that keeps you signed in for up to seven days. There are no advertising or analytics cookies. Your sign-in token is held in your browser's local storage so you are not asked to log in on every page.

Your choices

You can delete any project from your dashboard, which removes its data from the database. To delete your account and everything in it, email hello@homedraft.house and it will be removed. You can also ask for a copy of what is stored about you.

Children

House Planner is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly create accounts for them.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page will change and the new version will be posted here.
