House Planner

Terms of Use

Last updated 7 August 2026

These terms cover your use of House Planner at homedraft.house. By creating an account you agree to them.

The service

House Planner lets you draw 2D floor plans, view them in 3D, and produce material estimates in your browser. It is currently free to use while it is being developed and tested. We may change or discontinue features, and we will give reasonable notice before any change that would affect saved work.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself, and for what happens under your account. Use an address you actually control, and tell us at hello@homedraft.house if you think someone else has access to your account.

Your designs belong to you

Everything you draw is yours. We claim no ownership of your plans and do not use them for any purpose other than storing them for you and showing them back to you. We will not publish or share them.

Acceptable use

Not professional advice

House Planner is a design and visualisation tool. Its drawings, measurements, material quantities and cost estimates are approximations and are not architectural, engineering or construction advice. They are not certified for permitting or construction. Always have a qualified professional review plans before anyone builds anything, and check local building codes.

Availability and backups

The service is provided as-is, without guarantees of uptime. Keep your own copies of anything important — you can export a plan from the editor at any time.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, House Planner is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for construction decisions made on the basis of its output.

Ending your account

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing hello@homedraft.house. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
